A House of Rubber Cannot Stand

This Play is written and Directed by Tom Kalhagen. It will be performed by young adults in the Edgerton, Wi Area. Taking place in present day, a middle-aged women brings her father to a nursing home that has practices in place her twin sister might not agree with. The cast will have many quirky characters and interesting relationships.

Roles

Frank

Frank is an older man who has just found his new place of residence in a retirement home that seems to have interesting way about things.

Janet

Janet has just brought her father to his new home. After her twin Katherine disagrees with her decision, they  end up changing more lives than just their fathers.

The Nurse

knows the residence like the back of her hand. When Sarah starts her job here and makes the home more adventurous, She does her best to keep it under control.

Kathrine

Kathrine visits her sister to help their father settle into
his new home. She doesn't like what she sees there and tries to figure out a way to make a change.

Arthur

A resident at the home. He is just trying to find a way to make everything an adventure. He is always acting like the class clown.

Sarah

A new member of the staff at the home. She loves adventure and whenever possible tries to add ways to spice up the residents lives with exciting activities.

Audition Information

What you need:

Bring with you a filled out Audition form. Make sure all the information is filled out before you arrive. Know which part you are auditioning for and please bring along a copy of the dialogue you will be performing. You may be asked to read for additional parts.

When and Where:

Auditions will take place May 12th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and May 13th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. They will be held at the Edgerton Performing Arts Center. To get more information on the location, check out the map below or feel free to contact us.
